Blue Man Group appeals to all ages but we recommend that children be eight (8) years of age or older. Children under five (5) years of age are not permitted. Please be aware that the show contains dynamic live music and utilizes a state-of-the-art sound system--there is a lot of music and percussion in the performance, as well as use of a strobe light (for just under five minutes). Since noise and strobe lighting can affect patrons of all ages, we suggest you ensure that this would be acceptable for everyone in your group attending the performance.

We ask that all patrons in wheelchairs contact our Customer Service office prior to their show date (212-254-4371 or nyshowinfo@blueman.com)and that they arrive at the theatre 45 minutes before their scheduled show time. - Does the Astor Place Theatre offer volunteer usher opportunities?
To ensure consistent front of house coverage at all shows, the Astor Place Theatre no longer offers volunteer usher positions for Blue Man Group performances. At times, we have had challenges to provide ample staffing due to volunteers canceling close enough to show time where we cannot get a replacement. We are also beginning a more thorough training program for our front of house staff to help to further integrate their role into the overall show experience.
