• What exactly is Blue Man Group about? How will I describe it to my group?

  Blue Man Group is a multi-media, multi-sensory theatrical journey that features three bald and blue characters, backed by a three-piece band, that take the audience through an experience that is funny, intelligent, and visually stunning. Blue Man Group is truly the perfect entertainment. It's an incredible experience enjoyed by a broad range of individuals. Blue Man Group offers something for everyone. • Why should I choose Blue Man Group over another show?

  Blue Man Group is an incredibly unique experience. It is unlike anything else you will ever see or hear and you have the opportunity to enjoy this unique experience with 524 of your closest friends. The entire evening is a shared encounter that will build a sense of community among your group.
  
  The Charles Playhouse is an intimate, interactive setting which boasts a very close "seat to stage" ratio. In addition to generously discounted group rates, the performance captivates its audience and hosts repeat groups several times a year.

• Besides the special pricing, what are the other benefits to booking a Group Sale ticket?

  Groups are able to have access to tickets that have not gone on sale to the general public (usually 6-10 weeks in advance) providing you with some of the best seats in the house. It is our goal to make your entire experience as easy and enjoyable as possible. We want you to have fun!

• Are there educational support materials? Post-show discussions? Pre-show educational programs?

  At no additional cost, Blue Man Group offers an Educational Packet for educators to use in their classrooms. These packets are geared toward students ages 12-18 or grades 7-12 and include worksheets that will ensure your students get the most out of their Blue Man Group experience.   Post- show discussions are a possibility, schedule permitting, and advance request is required. Please click here for more information on student group schedules and pricing or speak to a Group Sales representative.

• How easy and quick is the ordering process?

  The ordering process is short and simple. Our Group Sales Associates will be happy to assist you with booking your groups quickly over the phone, by fax or online. All we need is your preferred date to answer any questions you may have, and to reserve your seats for the show of a lifetime.

• Can I make a reservation online?

  Yes. You may submit your group order and a Group Sales Representative will follow up to confirm all information and arrange for payment. Please be aware that no order is guaranteed until payment in full has been received. Full payment is required four weeks prior to your scheduled date or your reservation will be automatically cancelled. We cannot guarantee seat locations; however, all attempts to get your group the best possible seat locations will be made.

• Must I order and distribute the tickets or can I let my people order individually?

  For the sake of the quality and proximity of your group seats, we do ask that seats be ordered as a whole. They can then be sent and distributed, or picked up at the theatre.

• Are there any value-added extras?

• What are the group prices? Will my company make money? Can I pass on savings to my group? Will this price work in my package? Will my boss approve this purchase?

  Blue Man Group at the Charles Playhouse costs the average ticket buyer $58.00.

• Where can I find a nearby restaurant or party venue? Hotel? Transportation? Other attractions and entertainment for my outing?

  Boston's theatre district is alive with everything from casual, intimate bistros to opulent four star dining, as well as boutique and National Historic Landmark Hotels.

• What is the theatre neighborhood like? Can we park a bus?

  The Charles Playhouse is located in the heart of Boston's historic theatre district which is host to many restaurants, clubs, and theatres that welcome many friends, groups and families on a daily basis. On-street parking is very limited, and for buses it is recommended that they log on to the Greater Boston Convention and Visitor's Bureau website for graphic bus parking maps.

• Does the theatre have an elevator? Are there stairs? Handicapped seating? How far do my customers ha(...)

  At this time, the Charles Playhouse is not ADA accessible, but we do provide handicapped seating with special arrangements made directly through the theatre. The theatre does not have an elevator, and there are 25 stairs with landings to the main stage area. Patrons can be dropped off and picked up in front of the theatre. The street has no accessible parking at this time. The distance to walk will vary based on where they park and can be anywhere from one to two blocks.

• Will I get a comp ticket for my tour bus driver or my tour escort of 52 people or more?

  When available, we make every effort to provide a complimentary ticket for the escort or driver.
