Orlando, FL -– July 31, 2011 -- Chicago Resident Music Director Jeff Quay and Orlando Blue Man Captain Anthony Parrulli presented a workshop at the Drum Corps International event in Orlando, Florida.
Approximately 300 students and band directors were in attendance to hear the program we have been working on titled, "The Blue Man Group Core Values of Performance". The description: "Performance" at Blue Man Group goes beyond technical skill. Each performer must bring a core set of values to the work including the art of listening, commitment, open mindedness & versatility, dialog & conversation, support and trust.
Jeff and Anthony did a fantastic job and DCI has requested we return to some of their regional drum & bugle corps events in summer of 2012 to repeat the talk.
