The Las Vegas production of Blue Man Group at the Monte Carlo Resort and Casino is seeking a part–time Carpentry Technician.
Reporting to the Head Carpenter, s/he will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, trouble–shooting, building scenic elements and assist with the daily run of shows (scenery moves), special events, rehearsals, and maintenance calls. All crew positions work cross–departmentally, and are not solely restricted to projects within their department discipline.
Qualified candidates will have a 3+ years working in a professional environment as a stage technician/carpenter. The successful candidate will possess traditional carpentry, metal working/welding skills, as well as general stage carpentry skills. Basic electric skills and elementary understanding of pneumatics is a bonus.
